Well-known brand clothing contains "poison"

On August 23, the organization announced the results of a survey of toxic and hazardous substances in global branded apparel. Adidas, Li Ning, Nike and other 14 world-renowned brand clothing have been tested to contain NPE. According to its analysis, the environmental hormone NP, which is decomposed into NPE in the natural environment, affects the sexual development of the organism.

According to media reports, in the survey report released by the International Environmental Protection Greenpeace Organization, 28 sample samples were sampled in China. Among them, 19 samples contained NPE, involving Adidas, Li Ning and Nike. Fourteen brands such as CalvinKlein, Converse, G-StarRAW, H&M, Kappa, Crocodile, Abercombie & Fitch, Puma, RalphLauren, Uniqlo and Youngor.

Among the 19 NPE-containing samples, brands containing more than 500 mg of NPE per kilogram included Li Ning, A&F, Nike, and Youngor. Among them, an A&F denim shorts NPE content of up to 1100 mg / kg, Li Ning and Youngor's sweatshirt NPE content of 680 and 530 mg / kg, Nike's two T-shirts were 810 and 660 mg / kg.

The low pass rate in the industry and, in fact, not just these surveyed brands, the domestic textile industry generally needs to upgrade their respective production standards in accordance with the new national standards.

The comparison test of children's goods in the circulation field recently released by the Shanghai Municipal Consumer Protection Committee shows that the passing rates of children, infants and young children's clothing and children's shoes were only 79% and 50% respectively. The conclusion of random inspection is that some companies do not monitor the quality of their products well, and they have a lot of quality. The quality of some samples cannot be directly proportional to its brand awareness or expensive price. Among them, "H&M" children's clothing was exposed to fiber content that did not meet national standards. In this comparative sampling inspection, nearly 40 production and distribution companies in 6 provinces and cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian and Guangdong, and more than 20 brands with higher popularity or higher sales volume were involved. After testing, children, infants and young children clothing samples do not meet the standards of the main problems are: fiber content is not accurate, PH value, color fastness does not meet the standard requirements.

The Gansu Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau recently announced the results of special supervision and spot checks on the quality of children's apparel products in some parts of the province, showing that the physical quality qualification rate was 79.3%, which was slightly higher than the same period of last year.

In the face of standards, imported branded clothing is not a quality worry. In recent days, the Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has centralized and destroyed 79 batches of unqualified imported high-end garments seized in this year at the Center for Occupancy and Environmental Sanitation. The main origins of substandard products are Korea, Italy, Portugal, Morocco, Spain, and India. Turkey, Bangladesh and others. The unqualified imported clothing destroyed includes 9,944 adult clothes and 99.94 kg children's clothes. Major unqualified safety and health items include color fastness, pH, azo dyes, formaldehyde, and fiber components. According to incomplete statistics, the port of Shanghai imports more than 30,000 garments annually, and the import amount of ** is more than 40% of the total amount of garments imported by the country. As an important port of imported clothing, the Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has carried out a thorough investigation and supervision and random inspection of imported clothing since 2005. The unqualified rate of imported clothing has been above 20%.
