Germans accounted for 19% of costumes for Christmas gifts last year

Recently, the German Information, Communication and New Media Association (Bitkom) pointed out that the pace of Christmas has been getting closer and closer. To understand the current status of the German people buying gifts on the Internet, the Association commissioned Aris polling agency to send over 1,000 people aged over 14 years old. The German public conducted a survey.

The results show that when an average of every three German consumers buy Christmas gifts in online stores, the total number is equivalent to 24 million people, in addition to 15 million people. Internet shopping is of interest, and the most diligent people on the Internet are naturally young people, among which the number of people aged between 14-29 is as high as 45%, but among young people aged between 30 and 64, young people are among the youngsters. The rate was not low (40%), except for those aged over 65 who were slightly younger (4%).

In terms of occupational distribution, the proportion of civil servants who occupy the highest proportion (58%) is followed by those who are paid (45%), while the proportion of independents is 35%. 37%, while women accounted for 31%, the difference is not significant.

According to the German Rheinland Post newspaper, among the various gifts sold in Germany during the Christmas season (2010), toys accounted for the highest percentage (30.1%), followed by watches and clocks (24, 3%), and other bestsellers. The products were books (23.8%), consumer electronics (22.6%), perfume + cosmetics (20.4%), home furniture (19.1%), and clothing (19%).
