Silkworm Silk Industry in Sichuan Clears Five Key Tasks for Next Year

On December 5~6, 2013, the 11th China Caprolactam and Nylon Forum hosted by China National Synthetic Fiber Industry Association's nylon industry branch and China National Chemical Fiber Corporation, hosted by China Fiber Network and UK Tektronix Global Chemicals Co., Ltd. was held in Shanghai. More than 300 representatives from more than 30 countries, experts, scholars, marketers, corporate managers, and media organizations from around the world in the nylon industry are working together to pursue the future development of the nylon industry.

At present, China's new caprolactam products are mostly low-end products, and there is a trend of surplus products. The high-end caprolactam gap that can be used for high-speed spinning chips is still large. On the other hand, ammonium sulfate, the main by-product of caprolactam, has fallen all the way this year, affecting the profitability of the caprolactam plant. Experts from Versalis, Italy, Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd., and Shijiazhuang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. from different perspectives presented future technical prospects for the production of caprolactam.

It can be seen that under the trend of declining profitability of conventional conventional products, more and more companies are actively innovating independently to find ways to produce high-value-added functional products.
